Manufacturing and Assembly of our Parts!
This week we worked in shop to build and manufacture the different parts of our yo-yo. We worked to create the 100 of each component, as each yo-yo will have 2 donuts on it.
To begin working, we broke up as follows:
Madee, Jiyoung and Jose worked on the thermoformed part.
Harith, Thomas and Max worked on the injection molded top and bottom of donut.
We began assembling as soon as possible, so as to allow for leeway if we were unable to effectively mate the parts together.
