Mold Design Review
Mold Review Assignment:
Mold design review for the most complicated injection molded part.
This assignment caused for us to dive deeper into the Donut Bottom and further flush out what the CAD mold would look like.
We investigated and worked on creating a CAD for the mold, as well as completing tool-path CAMs for this part.
We broke the CAD of this part in to sections of work. Creating the actual model and then adding to the CAD model the ejector pins, gate, sprue, and runner.
The presentation we put together is located below, and goes into more detail across each of the different deliverables we put together.
